FIRST NATIONS HEALTH AUTHORITY

The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) Metro Vancouver office building consists of five levels of glulam along with CLT floors, a roof tied back to concrete cores, and a ground-level concrete structure. The 92,200-square-foot, five-level building features a raised floor system with an open-concept office space, a ground-floor Great Hall, a commercial kitchen, an employee fitness center with end-of-trip facilities, and an outdoor gathering space with a fire pit.

This project included Glulam transfer beams located in the Great Hall. These beams were too large to press in the factory and had to be assembled off-site and required coordinated lifts with 2x tower cranes to install on site.
