UVIC (UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA DINING HALL)
The University of Victoria is constructing a new residence building that will feature community style living with shared common spaces and private rooms. The building also features a large dining hall for students. Although primarily concrete, this project features exposed mass timber columns on the ground level, and CLT and glulam throughout the interior structure. All mass timber materials will be procured and supplied by within BC, which will add to the reduced carbon footprint of this project.
